Empowering Girls for Empowering Careers

The project goal is to empower girls aged 18-25 in Kosovo, giving priority to young girls and communities such as Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptians, by providing them with digital skills and career mentoring sessions.

By addressing the lack of digital skills, the project seeks to prepare girls for employment opportunities in the digital era. Further, it aims to raise awareness about the importance of digital skills for all, promoting gender equality and inclusive economic empowerment.

The project’s primary goal is to concentrate on the high rate of unemployment among youth in Kosova, particularly girls. They face many barriers and gender-based discrimination in accessing employment opportunities. Additionally, there is a lack of digital skills, which further hinders opportunities for employment and professional development in the digital age. Hence, by combining digital skills and mentoring opportunities, the project aims to enhance the employability of girls in Kosovo. The collaboration with partner organizations and the comparative analysis of Visegrad countries’ experiences further enriches the project’s potential for success and allows for the exchange of best practices.
